The purpose of this website is to share and collect information on my "roots" or genealogy. I have been researching my family for the past dozen years or so and, over the past few years, have found the World Wide Web to be a valuable resource. To organize my research, I use 'Family Tree Maker' from Broderbund Software, Inc. This is one of the most popular genealogy programs on the market and I highly recommend it. All the family pages you'll find on this site were generated by 'Family Tree Maker'. Broderbund also has a lot of genealogy aides available on CD ROM as well as a lot of good advice for the beginning or experienced genealogist.
